How long will it take?
After the initial order, it usually takes 3-4 weeks for the job to be completed, depending on the time of year.
How will I know what's best?
Our many years of experience help us determine what's best for you - not just what's easiest or we'd like to have. What you need, want, and is possible for the most storage, convenience and investment security is what we're looking for.
Can I match existing doors?
Yes! In many cases we match different styles such as those in a Heritage home, in a hinge or sliding version.
What happens to the base of my wardrobe?
We can simply install new floor covering to match the internal shelving material.

Are shelves adjustable?
We try and make every possible shelf adjustable, only fixing those required to guarantee structural integrity. Such shelves are still as reliable as fixed ones!
What about ties and belts?
We have many storage accessories to accommodate ties, belts, shoes, trousers, etc., so you won't have to compromise the storage of your other belongings.
Say I change my mind about the new wardrobe?
We manufacture everything to suit each job, but we do not make everything until a few days prior to installation. Chances are you can receive a full refund if you get cold feet.

How long will it last?
That depends on how its looked after, but typically a minimum of 25 years.
Are sliding doors safe for my children?
All products meet stringent Australian safety standards, i.e. Mirror Doors are a safety glass and will not shatter and break into dangerous pieces, and are completely safe in a child's bedroom.
"When an old wardrobe is removed. . .
. . . there can be wall damage. What will you do?"
We can line the walls in a board that will match the new installation or arrange repairs and painting if preferred.
Can they be installed over existing carpet?
Yes it can, and we do this on a daily basis!
It is arguably better onto a hard floor, but either way does not affect your guarantee.

Do I have to remove the old wardrobes?
We can remove the old wardrobe, and dispose of it too!
Can I do some of the work myself?
We are happy to give guidance and preparation instructions, and we can also supply the wardrobes in a kit form. It's more work than IKEA furniture, but we'd never undersell a bit of DIY!
However, you cannot help the carpenter to install the wardrobe due to insurance guidelines.

Will our clothes fit?"
Every wardrobe is made to measure to accommodate individual needs. The Joinery is Bespoke!
We can make them especially to fit you, or build in adjustments if we want to consider future occupants of the property.
If I damage the wardrobe, can I get spares or buy extra shelves?
Certainly! All jobs are held in a digital file, so you just need to let us know which wardrobe and section, and we will do the rest.

Do I need to empty the room?
If we have around 1/2 to a meter of space around the new wardrobe's footprint, that is enough.
But of course, the more the merrier!
Will I need to stay at home when the installation is happening?
We are all Canberra residents for many decades, and a family in business. Once you've let us in, we take the security of your personal property very seriously: as seriously as we take our own.
Say my storage needs change and the wardrobe doesn't work for me anymore?
All installations have flexibility for change, and prior to that, we will assess whether additional flexibility may be required straight away, i.e. pending retirement, sharing with a new partner, etc.
